Before you go

Currency: Polish złoty (PLN) — Poland doesn't use the euro, so pay and budget in złoty.
From the airport: Train to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, then change for the centre; bus 210 also runs direct in about 40 minutes.
Getting around: Tap a contactless card on the FALA device on trams and buses. SKM trains need a separate ticket.
Tipping: Travellers commonly leave about 10% in restaurants, but it's optional, not expected.
