The facts come from verified sources
Every place is built from OpenStreetMap, Wikidata and Wikipedia, and every claim in a story is tied to the specific source it rests on. Nothing reaches your ears until each claim has been checked against that source on its own.

Dates, names and numbers are the things a guide gets quietly wrong, and the things you remember. Each one is checked against the record it came from — and where the record is thin, the story says less rather than filling the gap.
It still works with no signal
Download a tour on hotel wifi and it's yours. Nothing streams while you walk, so a dead zone, a foreign SIM or a flat data plan can't interrupt a story halfway through.

Questions people ask
How is this different from the other audio tour apps?
Most of them are either a small library of hand-made tours, or a firehose of confident-sounding history that nobody ever checked. This is neither. Routes are built around what you're curious about and how long you have — and every fact behind them is traced to a named source and verified against it before it ships.
How do you know the stories are accurate?
Because no claim is allowed into a story without a source behind it. Each date, name and number is checked on its own against the exact record it came from, and anything that can't be backed up doesn't get said. Where a place is poorly documented, you get a shorter story rather than a padded one.
Do I need a signal while I'm walking?
No. You download the tour before you go and everything after that happens on your phone — the stories, the photos, the route, and the arrival triggers. That's the point.
Do I need headphones?
Not unless you want them. It's built to work with the phone in your pocket, and it plays through AirPods, a Bluetooth speaker or the phone itself, whichever you're using.
What language are the tours in?
English today. The catalogue is built so a place can carry more than one language, and more are coming — but we'd rather ship one language that's genuinely good than four that aren't.

The cities listed above are live, each with a real catalogue of places behind it. We'd rather go deep on a handful than list a hundred with three stops each.
What does it cost?
It's free for everyone in the beta, on iOS, and we haven't settled on what happens after that. Join the waitlist and you'll be walking long before we do.
