Attribution
Guided Tours is built on openly licensed data. Every tour draws on the sources below, and the same credits appear inside the app alongside the stops they belong to.
OpenStreetMap
Place locations, categories, and opening hours come from OpenStreetMap, used under the Open Database License (ODbL).
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors — openstreetmap.org/copyright
Wikidata
Structured facts — dates, people, events, and the relationships between them — come from Wikidata, released into the public domain under CC0 1.0. Attribution is not legally required, and is given here anyway.
Wikipedia
Descriptive and historical context is drawn from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0. Wikipedia is used as a grounding source for narration rather than reproduced verbatim; the specific articles behind each stop are recorded in that stop’s source trail and shown in the app.
Wikimedia Commons
Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons. Licences there vary file by file — CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA, and public domain are all represented — so the required credit line is stored and displayed per image, next to the photo it belongs to.
Corrections
If something in a tour is wrong, misattributed, or missing a credit it should have, please tell us. Accuracy is the whole point of this app, and a report is genuinely useful.
