Royal Heritage

Follow the lower Royal Mile through the old burgh of Canongate, from John Knox House past Canongate Kirk, the Museum of Edinburgh and the tucked-away Dunbar's Close Garden. The walk ends where Scottish power has long gathered: the modern Parliament, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the ruined Holyrood Abbey.
