A short drinker's walk through Edinburgh, from the New Town pub made famous by Ian Rankin's Inspector Rebus to the lavish Victorian interior of the Cafe Royal. Climb to the Scotch Whisky Experience on Castlehill, then drop down into the Grassmarket, the old market place beneath Castle Rock.
