   Dolnośląska Biblioteka Publiczna is Wrocław’s public library named for Tadeusz Mikulski, and it is the largest institution promoting books and reading in Lower Silesia’s public-library network.

   Muzeum Archeologiczne occupies this medieval Municipal Arsenal, one of the few medieval buildings in Wrocław preserved intact.

   Muzeum Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego is the University of Wrocław’s museum, housed in the university’s main building on University Square beside the Odra.

   The remarkable thing about the Ossolineum is that only about a third of its pre-war treasures reached Wrocław.
