The Museum of Pharmacy of the Medical University occupies the thirteenth-century Tenement House Under the Golden Eagle on Kurzy Targ, now known as the House of the Silesian Pharmacist. A pharmacy and the pharmacist’s home stood here from the thirteenth century until 1951. The museum began in November 2011.

From the thirteenth century until 1951, this single address contained both a pharmacy and the pharmacist’s home. The museum itself began in November 2011, returning the subject of pharmacy to a house with a deep connection to the profession.
