A long walk through the open spaces of the south, from the old railway landscape of Park am Gleisdreieck to the Schwerbelastungskörper, a vast concrete cylinder built to test ground for a Nazi triumphal arch. Climb Viktoriapark’s hill with its waterfall and monument, then finish on Tempelhofer Feld, the former airport that Berliners now use as a park.
