Along the Wall to Prenzlauer Berg

6 stops · ~2 hr 30 min · 5.8 km

Local Life

Start at the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauer Straße and follow the old border north to the Berlin Underworlds Museum and Mauerpark, where the death strip is now a park. Then drift into Prenzlauer Berg for a historic beer garden, a famous snack kiosk under the U-Bahn tracks and leafy Kollwitzplatz. A longer walk that shows how a divided edge became a lived-in neighbourhood.
