5 stops · ~3 hr · 3.9 km

20th Century

A walk through the places where Berlin confronts its hardest history: the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, rebuilt Potsdamer Platz, the Topography of Terror on the site of the Nazi security apparatus, and the Cold War crossing at Checkpoint Charlie. It finishes at the Jewish Museum, Europe’s largest, in Daniel Libeskind’s striking zigzag building.
