Beyond the Pile Gate: Gradac Park and Danče

Step out through the Pile Gate to the quieter west side of the city. Pass beneath Lovrijenac, wander the pine shade of Gradac Park, then descend to the 15th-century votive church of Sveta Marija and Danče, one of Dubrovnik's oldest beaches, with deep, clear water.
