Serenissima, Roma

Serenissima is a railway halt in Collatino, set under Viale della Serenissima where the avenue crosses the rail line. It opened on the first of February two thousand seven, created during works that expanded the urban railway toward Lunghezza and improved access for local commuters. The entrance leads into a constructed tunnel rather than a conventional open-air station, with a plainly functional mix of concrete and steel.

This is part of the Rome–Pescara railway, alongside the high-speed route for Naples; the fast trains pass nearby without stopping here. Serenissima serves the FL two regional service, linking this eastern Roman district with the wider rail network. Lifts and stairs connect the platforms with the avenue above, while bus stops on Viale della Serenissima make the halt a practical interchange.
