A short walk through Budapest’s old Jewish Quarter, from the vast Dohány Street Synagogue to the Rumbach Street Synagogue designed by Otto Wagner. Pass through the linked courtyards of Gozsdu udvar, stop for sólet at the little Kádár canteen on Klauzál tér and end at Szimpla Kert, the city’s most famous ruin bar.

    Gozsdu udvar is a connected passage-and-courtyard complex, not a single building: seven original buildings gather around six linked courtyards, with the main route joining Király Street and Dob Street.
