Rembrandt's Amsterdam and the Plantage

History

Begin at the Waag, the old weigh house linked to Rembrandt's Anatomy Lesson, then pass the Zuiderkerk to the house where Rembrandt lived and worked. Continue to the seventeenth-century Portuguese Synagogue and into the green Plantage district, with the Hortus Botanicus, Micropia and Artis, the city's historic zoo.
