Buža Bar, Dubrovnik
Buža Bar is the refreshment spot beside Buža Beach, a Dubrovnik beach pressed against the Old Town walls. The shore here is rocky, with concrete terraces leading your eye toward the open sea and Lokrum Island. Access comes through an opening and a gate in the walls, reached by narrow streets within the city.
That passage gives the beach its distinctive character: a small coastal retreat reached through the fabric of the historic town. Buža ranks among Dubrovnik’s most attractive beaches, and this combination of stone, sea, and urban walls explains its appeal. From the terraces, the view opens across the water, while the island remains a clear landmark offshore. The bar belongs to the beach itself, so the place works as both a swimming stop and a setting for the seascape.
