Head west from the Guinness Storehouse at St James's Gate to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, now home to the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Continue to Kilmainham Gaol, closely tied to the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising, and finish in Lutyens's Irish National War Memorial Gardens.
