Teano, Roma

Teano is a Rome Metro stop on Line C, set where Via Teano meets Viale Partenope. Its spacious street-level atrium is enclosed by glass, so daylight reaches into the station; the hall was designed to accommodate shops and cultural events. Work on the station began in two thousand seven and concluded in January two thousand fifteen.

Passenger service started on the twenty-ninth of June two thousand fifteen. The platforms are arranged one above the other, a layout prepared for a proposed C-one branch toward Ponte Mammolo. That branch plan was later set aside. Schools and sports facilities shape the surrounding neighbourhood, giving this station the character of a practical local gateway rather than a grand civic showpiece.
