At Szucha Avenue seven, this is Ukraine’s embassy in Warsaw, the official diplomatic mission representing Ukraine in Poland. Its home is a 1937 building designed by Edward Zachariasz Eber, once used by the Soviet Union for its trade representation. Ukraine maintained diplomatic offices in Poland from 1919, beginning with an extraordinary mission of the Ukrainian People’s Republic in Warsaw.

When independent Ukraine emerged in 1991, a special government envoy reopened formal contact. Poland recognized Ukrainian independence on 2 December 1991; diplomatic relations began on 4 January 1992, and the mission gained embassy status during that year. The consular department is based at Malczewskiego Street 17 and serves the Lubuskie, Łódź, Masovian, and Greater Poland regions.
