Hidden Gems

A quieter side of Milan, starting at the Ca’ Granda, Filarete’s great Renaissance hospital now home to the university. Find the Baroque fishpond of the Giardino della Guastalla, the undulating portico of the Rotonda della Besana, a former cemetery, and Portaluppi’s elegant 1930s Villa Necchi Campiglio.
