The Warsaw University of Technology Museum explores the university’s history through scientific equipment, research apparatus, photographs and documents. Founded in nineteen seventy-eight, it holds original papers signed by Stanisław Staszic and presents the permanent exhibition “Two Hundred Years of Warsaw University of Technology.”

Muzeum Politechniki Warszawskiej is the university museum devoted to the past of Warsaw University of Technology. Its holdings preserve the working material of scholarship: scientific and research equipment once used at the university, alongside photographs and archival papers. The museum began in nineteen seventy-eight.

Its most venerable pieces are original documents carrying the signatures of Stanisław Staszic. That detail reaches beyond machinery and classrooms, connecting the collection with a major figure in Poland’s intellectual and public life. Since October twenty twenty-five, the museum has been based in the Institute of Thermal Engineering building at Nowowiejska twenty-one slash twenty-five.

A permanent display, “Two Hundred Years of Warsaw University of Technology,” has been open since June twenty twenty-five. This is a compact record of how a technical university remembers itself: through the tools used to test ideas, the papers that preserve decisions, and images that return people to the institution’s daily life. The museum has also belonged to Poland’s Association of University Museums since twenty fourteen.
