most Oporowski, Wrocław

Most Oporowski brings a road bridge, a river crossing, and a tram terminus together in one compact part of the city. It carries Grabiszyńska and Solskiego streets over the Ślęza, joining Oporów to Grabiszyn. From a safe place on the pavement, you can appreciate its straightforward purpose: road traffic crosses the water here, while trams reach the nearby Oporów loop.

Lines 4, 11, and 20 use that terminus, making this more than a dividing line between neighbourhoods; it is also a place where public transport reverses and sets out again. The bridge has two spans. Its supporting structure consists of simply supported beams working with a reinforced-concrete deck slab.

That practical engineering matches the character of the crossing. Nothing here needs a grand gesture: the bridge keeps an everyday connection open between streets, districts, and the tram network. While you remain still, the passing traffic and the trams at their turning point make the function of this modest bridge easy to understand.
